Taking advantage of deregulation in the milk industry, a Pretoria family (Meyer and Neethling) with experience and interests in milk farming (established The Dairy Shop in 1995) as an outlet selling milk to the public.
Since then, the business has expanded to become a substantial supplier of dairy products in the Pretoria region. At present The Diary Shop is one of the biggest suppliers of milk in the area and is currently the only milk factory situated in Pretoria urban area. We supply a full range of dairy products to the retail, industry and catering market. Except for milk, other products include fruit yoghurt, drinking yoghurt, amazi, cheddar cheese, cottage cheese, cream and fruit juices.
The Dairy Shop operates from a modern facility in The Willows Business Park, Silverton, and is managed full-time by co-owner Wallie Meyer.
