KIMONA MANUFACTURERS cc is a registered company and is 100% black owned and controlled entity based in Centurion, Gauteng Province. The company’s mission is the design, manufacture and supply of industrial protective, uniforms, work, corporate and other corporate, commercial and industrial products.
With the slogan of “SERVICE BEYOND EXPECTATION” KIMONA MANUFACTURERS was founded in 2008 by Koleka Kim Bubu and strategically partnered with Antonio Matsinhe. The company started as a manufacturing entity and diversified into other textile related disciplines. Now KIMONA MANUFACTURERS employs more than a hundred employees and has a capacity of a 1000 dozens per week, it’s become a versatile apparel manufacturing facility with the ability to sew a variety of clothing in different fabrics and styles with it’s own embroidery machinery on site.
The South African Police Service have been a major focus areas from the beginning and today still represents a significant portion of the organizations activities. This product range carries full SABS standards certification and imported globally. Almost all products are manufactured in South Africa with some complementary accessories being imported from a variety of global strategic partners. A complete head-to-foot range of certified products, supported with advanced professional and technical assistance are on offer.

In order to accommodate the demand of our diverse range of customers KIMONA MANUFACTURERS has adapted its service offering. It is now possible to custom brand your safety work wear according to the criteria that you specify. Apart from ensuring quality safety products, KIMONA MANUFACTURERS goes the extra mile by offering a number of after sales services including: protective clothing consultation and training, safety product care and maintenance, a washing program and laundry set up.
