He was a young businessman and attorney with the hope and intention of providing sound legal advice and services to the public. With hard work and a great legal mind he managed to ensure that the firm not only excelled at client services and making a difference in the legal field, but also providing a platform for young attorneys to learn what the meaning of ethical and sound legal practice and business is.

During the last 38 years Jasper van der Westhuizen was joined and partnered with great Legal and business minds and the firm has produced several practitioners (i.e Rudi Bodenstein – previous partner at JWB and now living and working in Europe; Flip Prinsloo – previous partner at JWB and now the co-owner of a Law Firm in Pretoria; Gwendoline Moolman – co-owner of a Law Firm in Pretoria).
