George saw weaknesses in the design of the products and to improve the quality of the product he brought about a couple of necessary changes:
• The neck structure of both the Meat-o-Matic and the Springbok was remodelled to enhance blade stability,
• the MOMS no.22 electrical mincer and motorised biltong slicers were designed and added to the existing product list for manufacturing.
At the beginning of 1997 the company moved its premises from Garankuwa to a small holding at Haakdoornboom. In January 2001, the company obtained its first owned land and building and the company moved to Rosslyn, from where it is still operating.
In 2006 the business changed from a (Pty) ltd to Cc.
Another company, MP Deluxe 2875 (Pty) ltd, was registered in March 2014. The work load is now shared by the two businesses and a product split took place. Both Meat Pride products as well as the Meat-o-Matic band saw are now manufactured by MP Deluxe (Pty) ltd and all other products are manufactured by Meat-o-Matic Springbok (cc).
Manufacturing by both businesses takes place at the same premises, 54 Hendrik van Eck street, Rosslyn. George Nolan is also the sole member and shareholder of both businesses. All sales, administration and finances of both businesses are also run from the same premises.
Our aim is to provide customer satisfaction by means of delivering a quality product and excellent customer service.
