Ndzhuku is a Xitsonga noun that loosely translated means ‘any reward attained as a result of working’ or simply the ‘fruits of one’s hard work’. Ndzhuku Trading was established in October 2010 by a seasoned entrepreneur with solid consulting, investment and financial management background, who strongly believes that all hands must be on deck to ensure a ‘working’ South African economy that will thrive in our globalised environment. The founding director of the firm, Malwandla Siweya, holds a degree in commerce from South Africa’s leading higher education institution. Malwandla is no stranger to student activism , he was one of the first executive committee members of the Student in Free Enterprise (SIFE), University of Limpopo branch and has served in different committees of social formations as well. He has worked for many reputable BEE and blue chip companies mostly as a finance manager, and has thus used his position and influence to direct the respective companies’ resources to meaningful Corporate Social Investments (CSI). Ndzhuku is dedicated to laying necessary foundations for establishment and growth of a self-financing business that seeks to be a key role-player in addressing some of our pressing national challenges like poverty and unemployment but to name a few – committed to finding innovative solutions for the advancement and development of the South African economy. |
